[ Guess who got caught in the latest storm without any sort of umbrella despite the way the weather has been for a while now... yeah, these idiots. ]
Wolfwood, come on! [ Vash has already shrugged out of his coat and is now trying to hold it up over Wolfwood's head as well as his own. It's not working out great. It might actually be making things worse. ]

[ They're both already soaked so it's probably worthless at this point, but Vash tries anyway.
It's amazing to see water just falling from the sky like this, abundant, without any Plants to speak of. The damp chill makes the metal staples in his skin ache, but that's not what's making him so anxious. ]
You'll get sick, and then you'll overwork yourself the whole time. [ Vash has no idea how he knows that - these fake memories are so strange. He just gives up on sheltering them both, leaving the whole coat draped over Wolfwood's head. ]

[ It's funny, there's so much here that seems new and wonderful. Vash isn't any less dazzled by it, but more often than not he finds himself watching people instead of things. He'd always wondered what life would have been like if not for what he (and Nai) had done.
There had been movies and books and stories, but there's nothing quite like seeing the casual irritation of people so accustomed to something like rain that it's no more than a nuisance to them. The way it should be. Something they can take for granted, instead of a luxury.
He watches Wolfwood tilt his head up to catch the water on his tongue and something in Vash's chest feels light. He entirely misses the first part of the question, but he laughs and turns toward Dodo. ]
Don't worry so much, Wolfwood. [ Pot, kettle. ] I can take it apart and let it dry off when we get back, it's fine. [ He waves the arm to show that it's totally fine and immediately gets a cramp in his shoulder, so the gesture is somewhat stilted. To add insult to injury, the wind decides to pick up right then, and Vash doesn't quite suppress a full body shiver. Maybe Wolfwood won't notice. ] Oh - have you had hot chocolate yet? I've heard it's good for this kind of weather...
